I suspect the local media outlets (Post-Record, Columbian, Lacamas Blog) get a lot of advertising revenue from the city of Camas and local business with interest in city decisions. That blog called "Lacamas Magazine" seems especially unapologetic to the fact that it prints friendly stories for advertisers, including a very recent example - not sure if anyone saw? The article discusses a group saying that Gov. Inslee needs to reopen general construction in the state, while the article is sponsored by a local cabinet maker for home builders that would directly benefit from that movement. I appreciate that I haven't seen any examples of this on watch Camas. Just neighbors keeping neighbors up to date on what's actually happening in town because they love Camas.
